    >>So Hartley, what your saying is that all the starnet books are
trustworthy? Because Reno said Casino On Air "Moves on Air".. so which
    is it?<<

God no. I honestly have never dealt with a Starnet casino in my life so I wouldn't make that claim. I have heard good and bad about some of their books but mostly what I know about them is the raid and a stock that went from almost $30 down to $3. I also know the company started out with porn (sizzle.com and chisel.com) and still owns casinos with classic names like
    "pussyclubcasino.com"
    "boystoyscasino.com" and
    "cybersexcasino.com".

Other than that, I know little about them.

      Other than that,

I also know they have some serious beef with Itops.

No - just one of the licensees.

Starnet has a ton of books - some good and some bad. I haven't heard one negative thing about sportsbook.com.

what would be interesting, is a list of all of them

and some sort of consensus on the top bunch?

            Hartley,

you have pretty bad memory of late.

The time when the raid happened in the Starnet office at Canada, you are the first guy to update us in here with the info that you have got from Claude Levy's site.

You are also the one that said clearly that you will never put a cent into the Starnet books.

Maybe this is just one of the many reasons, but I remember that Patrick clearly laid some serious smacks on you and Itops in this forum.

            Archives won't lie.

BTW, please stop using such naive words like good and bad.

There are only 2 kinds of Starnet books (or every books out there),

Book A - higher risk of not getting paid.

Book B - lower risk of not getting paid.
(ie. those so-called "Patrick's Group books").

The biggest problem with these Starnet books is the absolute absence of customer service. I believe Players Only and Sportbook.com do pay, however, send any money to these people and it may take you three to five days and a multitude of phone calls for them to credit your account. This is unacceptable as I only send cash via Western Union.

Also and this is typical of Starnet books and a great reason to stay away. There was a gambler in another thread in Sportsfanatik, one in Patrick's group (the solid one) with Players Only, Sportsbook.com, All-Star, etc.

He calls in IN ADVANCE to check the status of a wager. This gambler did what he was supposed to do. He called in and asked the question, "Do I have a wager as there was an incorrect date on the ticket."

He is assured by someone in management that yes, you do indeed have a wager and then Patrick comes in and chimes, no you don't. This is VERY TYPICAL of what to expect in a Starnet book. For these two big reasons, I would keep out (and do) Starnet books. Their customer service STINKS and trying to get money posted to your account is like pulling teeth unless you sent $500 or under on a credit card.

Being the McDonalds of the sportsbook industry may make for huge profits, but it doesn't make for happy customers.

                Thanks Boomer!

I believe you saved me some aggravation. I need no more after dealing with these corporate mice in the desert. Respect your truthfulness.--Ron

Ayce I'm not about to paint everybody with the same brush. When I posted about the problems with Starnet I did use gamblingmagazine.com as a source but at the time I knew nothing about Claude Levy. That's why I stated above "To be honest most people didn't know Levy owned
gamblingmagazine.com until after Gamblingmagazine.com started posting
about Starnet. Until that time the magazine was well respected." It didn't take long to realize Levy has a vendetta - at least I can admit it. But I have no intention of badmouthing books that have nothing to do with Playersonly and I no zero about.

At the same time would I sign up with a Starnet book? Fat chance. It's much safer to stick to the books listed on this site.

Boomer, I sent them 5000$ the other day Western Union and it was credited to my account within 45 min. I have been playing with them for about two months now and have never been paid (getting my ass kicked but getting good earns) so I can't really say whether or not about that, but I have heard good things until now. By the way, I sent the money to Sportsbook.com and I have never had a problem with their customer service, although speaking Spanish does help me.

bascially what I was asking is will you be assured that you will get paid with every single Starnet book? Does Starnet do that or because they are individually owned, it is on word of that individual owner?

Do all of the Starnet books have the same betting lines? And if so, why play with any Starnet book other than Players Only or Sportbook.com, which are both on the recommended BW sportsbook list?

I believe right now they have the same lines but are planning on using different lines for shortly so I was going to use a few

Reno, they all have the same line base, but some, like Playersonly have all of the available props while others have a more limited menu. Also, only some had/will have financial wagerng when/if Starnet gets off their collective duffs and re- instututes this type of wagering. Other than those reasons, the only other reason to use multiple Starnet outs is the initial 10% sign up bonus which is given at each individual book, as well as other sign up perks like pagers/etc., which are different at the different licensees.
