  • Binion murder trial

Was in Vegas last week and couldn't help but to get sucked in by the Binion murder trial.

It's on every station, Live. Reminded me of the O.J Trial.

I'd appreciate any updates from you Las Vegans out there.....

What's the Vegas betting line on whether Sandy Murphy and Rick Tabish are found guilty?

My dish isn't hooked up right now, and I don't have court tv on cable.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to follow the entire trial, but did catch alot of the closing arguments.

Isn't it possible that they didn't kill him, but once he was dead, seeing how they knew where the 6 mil was buried, they decided to dig it up? Or am I way off here?

Guess I missed some crucial evidence, because the consensus seems to be GUILTY.

                Reno,
I d make Tabish an out price for being found guilty on all or any of the 17 counts. Last week the jury came back and asked Judge Bonaventure to clarify what constituted kidnapping.

Sandy Murphy +140 to walk on all charges.

jeff, the interesting thing is ted usually smoked his herion. from the testimony i heard the herion was in the stomach, along with the drug zanex. it really looks like it was an attempted drugging gone bad and they panicked and suffocated him to finish the job. another bit of damning testimony was the fact that the day before ted had called his attorney to cut murphy out of the will. she had a ton to gain by getting rid of binion before that will could be revised.
the will stated that she got the contains of the house. from what i understand there was a significant amount of assets in the house,as well as, alot of cash.
reno, i make it both guilty -180 both not guilty +140. i know forty cent line, hey i got to be careful with this prop.
what would you do with the line. dosen't look good if you are trying to scalp.

Noholdsbarred, in this case I'm not interested in scalping the line; I'm interested in scalping Rick and Sandy. Killing Ted Binion was terrible, but even worse was the fact that these thoughtless idiots, because of the murder, ended up ruining the best phone account in Vegas. After Ted was offed, sister Becky took over the Horseshoe, and the sportsbook went to hell. In other words, these *******s cost me a lot of money because of their dastardly deed. Consequently, they deserve cruel and unusual punishment. Instead of "humane" lethal injection, these cold-blooded murderers deserve to be scalped in public by outraged sportsbettors.

Blame sister Becky for the sportsbooks demise. Ted has been persona non grata in the gaming business at that time.
