AV, we export plenty of it but we also import it all back (tax free) before anyone else gets to taste it..

It's not exactly terrific anyway so why bother anyone else with it?

No, but the state alcohol monopoly has high prices.. and you can buy tax-free alcohol easily by visiting Estonia at about 1/3 of the monopoly prices. So not much money in it for the government, but for the shipping companies. You are only allowed to import about 2 slabs at a time so people travel abroad surprisingly often.
