Alec, who bets on Russian Hockey?

Have noticed a few whacky results for the Moscow teams, like what is up with CSKA?

Making a few dollars for the end of season holidays are they?

        AussieVamp2,
        "Who bets on russian hockey?"
I did not get the question. Do you mean sports books or people that I mentioned?

On books. All books in Russia and some in Ukraine offer russian hockey. I have never heard about any book from outside of the former Soviet Union which has russian hockey.

On those people. I don't know who they are. Some people close to clubs and players. I heard about one journalist for example.

By the way, I know about one example when after a sequence of bets on "fixed" matches one book refused to pay the winnings. What would be the reaction of any offshore book in such situation?

Some Brittish books have a clause protecting them from paying out if there are serious allegations/proof of criminal activity affecting the outcome of matches.

            Cons,
"serious allegations/proof of criminal activity affecting the outcome of matches."
What does it mean? Could you, please, give any real example?

                alec,

I meant bookmakers, yes. Obviously lots of people would

Is it just the horrible 3-way lines?

Not sure if it was clear before, but compared to last season, some suprising results from the Moscow teams in Russia in soccer - not surprising from ratings, but from what was happening last year.
