Ban college sports betting!

Everyone is crying about the inevitable college sports betting ban legislation.

Who cares??

Vegas rips off jerks dumb enough to play college parlay cards anyway (ties lose of course).

Vegas books can't take a decent size bet anyway.

ALL the real action is offshore now anyway.

This legislation has a real silver lining - it send all the Vegas college bets offshore where they belong!

i agree vegas does not really matter to most in terms of playing the games. but what happens the next time asu gets 10:1 action. who will come forward? will the ncaa or feds investigate based on what an offshore book tells them. locals? don't think so. as i mentioned in another thread, this is what scares me about this legislation.

without casinos playing so-called 'watchdogs'

not really very important, is it?

given that if that officials survey was true, then only way to get 'unbent' games would be to have them played by self-officiating robots, even then, some programmers could try stuff
