Remember that $5000 contest? Well, "betzone" was the winner. Apparently, it was Betmaker who wanted help. Check this out:

We would like to inform you that starting Thursday, April 13th, 2000, betmaker.com will separate its European operations from the American operations.

A new site called betzone.com will service the European market. betzone.com will provide the same quality service that betmaker.com has been delivering, and with many new features that will make it superior to the former site. For example, there will be multi-lingual real-time chat assistance, odds on all European sports, European affiliate program sponsored by Commission Junction, tax-free betting and more changes that you will be pleased to see.

betzone.com is fully licensed in the Isle of Man and complies with all the regulations established by The Commissioners. The Government of the Isle of Man has strict controls and laws that ensure the transparency of all wagering operations. The Isle of Man received for four consecutive years the 'Best Offshore Jurisdiction' Award presented by International Money Marketing review.

The Joe Jennings Group, one of the most recognized English bookmakers., has successfully integrated betzone.com into one of its Licensed Betting Shops. betzone.com will be completely dedicated to European clientele, and will set the highest standards in customer service, accounting, bookmaking and telecommunications.

betzone.com understands the concerns of its customers regarding all security issues, and therefore provides the safest credit card processing systems, the confidential handling of customer's personal information, as well as guaranteed fast payouts. Your betmaker account is now fully active in betzone.com

One of our representatives will be calling you shortly to inform you of the change and will be glad to answer any questions or hear any comments you may have. If you would like to contact us, please call +44 1624 697 001.

I just type something, when I need to cut and paste something and am too lazy to back out afterwards - so cp does it ....... seeing you can't copy stuff anymore without going in to the reply bit....

              BigMoney,

Presumably so their directors can still go to DisneyWorld without Janet Reno giving them an extended all-expenses paid holiday
