Mellenium and ABC have an option through a bank in Belize for debit cards. A small fee, I believe.

I'm not 100% on this but I don't believe there's a fee. The fee you might encounter would be if you tried to access your "payout" with a cash advance or cash withdrawal from the debit card. On the other hand if you just charged something there would be no fee.

A debit card can be treated just as a normal credit card, except you don't get hit with cash advance fees since it's your money.

They can't tell the difference. Due to the fact it has a visa/mc # attached to your card. When the charge is subrouted to the bank it is redirected to your actual checking account #.

Vegasbook.com offers a debit card. I don't know much about them. Buzz Daly mentioned them in his column today. The ABC/Millenium card is actually a credit card but they don't extend credit...hence there is a small fee for cash advances.
