SkyBook Download.....Help.....

I'm technically challanged......I
attempted to download Skys software,
but when I go to enter my acct#, followed
by my inet acct#, I keep getting a
"communications error, communications
good,but server is busy"....I have
Internet Explorer 5.0, any ideas what
I'm doing wrong....This has been going
on for a few hours...

they close at 10:30 est
there site goes down as well

It will be up the next morning about 10:30 or 11:00

Are their software line changes as quick as with SportTracker?

use SportsTracker. The download is
very simple though.

That is sky site. It is accurate to their line. You have a refresh button on top also. I think it is faster than sportracker.

The problem with their download betting is site is that it TIMES OUT AFTER 10 MINUTES!

Skybook uses the same software as SOS. Unfortunately, this software doesn't refresh itself and times out. So for someone, like me, who needs constant, quick line changes, it is virtually useless. Coincidentally, SOS is also on the SportsTracker along with Skybook.

I still don't understand why more sportsbook don't use the same type of software that WSEX does. It is such a pleasure to use a program that refreshes itself and doesn't time out.

If I could figure out how to get automatic refresh and no timeouts on Olympic, this would be my vote for the best online software around.

Sports book software is a lot like playing the violin, or watching Efren Reyes play one pocket --

It only looks easy when its done right.

Despite running on the ancient CERN server (precursor to the Apache Web Server), WSEX is a thing of beauty for the player.

Its the only sports book software that runs on UNIX (that's the main reason the rest suck - they are poorly programmed pieces of Microsoft Sludgeware), it's nonpartial to your browser (how could it ever be partial - its running on an ancient platform - javascript and cookies weren't even INVENTED when the first version of CERN came out), and subsequently couldn't care less about cookies or javascript.

Try surfing Olympic sites without javascript or cookies on. Ha.

Better yet - try Betmaker.com with no javascript. You'll be lucky to get the line, much less be able to put a bet in.

This isn't to take away from the engineering feats that Olympic and betmaker represent - but WSEX's product was first to market, and is still better and faster.

From pick to click, its 10 to 1 better than the rest.

If Olympic and Betmaker represent engineering genius, then WSEX is a MASTERPIECE in terms of usability, stability, ease of use, speed, et al.

I betcha they wouldn't take 7 figures for it.
