we are beginning to see a smoke and mirrors game that is working EVEN with the smartest of people. Another website (i will not mention) is clearly telling books untruths in an effort to gain new advertisers.
its a shame. the numbers do not lie. the players don't lie. the underhandeness does not lie.
yet the books buy into it. its pathetic!
97-30 was the latest score when the people were offered 5 large to choose a new name for a sportsbook. In addition 25% of the posts on the "other" site were that of site operators. this is a true indication of the traffic difference between the 2 sites. as of 3/30 it was more like 85-15. not so strangely MOST of the posts on the "OTHER" site were made by "junior" members. these are people who have not posted more than 10 times.
Where were all the posters who have been frequenting the site under aliases the last week? who are these people?
it was proven that one was the site operator.
The threat of using a non-existant mailing list and worse is a weak way to get clients. however it appears it works. that is sad.
bworld does not use these tactics. buy into the other site and you have been fooled my friends. fooled badly.
If you are a book that wants a few nickel and dime squares then consider the "other" site.
Post there and have a ball. If you want to deal with books that have a knowledge of people that lie and players that probably do not exist then go to the other place.
we want the REAL books here! we want the REAL players here!!
