Last Sunday I requested a withdrawal from my account to my credit card - received and email monday to notify me that it had been processed - Tuesday sent email asking how long it took to hit my credit card was informed it took 72 hours (why it takes so long is beyond me when they can TAKE money from the card instantaneously) Friday still no credit to the card - wrote email Sunday informing them of problem - now Monday night still no response from them.

I've had my card credited back twice by them. The first on took less than a week, the second was suppossed to be a FedEx payment(they mistakenly credited my card).
Sometimes it takes up to 2 weeks for the credit to show up. It could be your credit card company thats slow to process the credit. I'd give it a couple more days.

The problem you describe has probably less to do with 5Dimes than with Perplexa, the holding company that processes deposits and redemptions. Most Perplexa books that I've dealt with can take a week or more to get a check, and up to three weeks for a charge back to Visa/MC. Perplexa has a reputation for taking their time with payouts and this will only hurt the books that do business with them in the long run.
With so much competition in the marketplace today, Perplexa will need to do a better job for their client books or customers will seek faster paying shops elsewhere. So far as 5Dimes is concerned, I wouldn't worry about them. You will see your money, but it will take awhile.
