ACTION SPORTS FIASCO: A lesson for all of us

First off, Boomer, my thanks on behalf of all Bettorsworld contributors in taking an eight dime hit and refusing to sell out to ACTION. I certainly was right in stating that this whole thing is about Meyer's ego but was stupified that he allowed this wound to fester and refused to pay you. Simply put, he was wounded here by your comments and this is your punishment, pure and simple: "fu, you're not getting one red cent". Certainly, he has lost a helluva lot more than $8,000 in business and publicity. The fact is though, as others have stated, most of the bettors in the world do not visit this site and will never hear this tale. I believe that you are wasting your time with the government and banks because they are the world's biggest whores and be reluctant to shut down an operation that they derive income from. Hopefully, Mr. Meyers will learn something from this as well, not to let a monstrous ego get in the way of doing business. Bookmaker or client, if the wrong guy gets stiffed,the stiffee might find his brains spilled out on the seat of his car. People tend to forget about this seedier end of the business..believe me, it's happened before and will happen again. BTW, I agree with Boomer, read the archives..Nasa blows and Gold Medal is a freakin' joke!!!

Perhaps I do no not yet have Boomer's resorses but have been in the same shoes. I have played into 40+ books the last 3 years and have crapped out twice. 21st Century and Gamble USA Stiffed me for a combined 10 dimes. I have been an educated and informed player. I took the low road to try and get my money and to a certain degree I suceeded. For my money I tried new outs with primo bonuses and a little different #'s. Each time the different #'s cost them their biz. I made plenty playing their #'s but never felt good. Now with a legit bankroll and a game plan these obscure outs offer less and less options to me. Hats off to Boomer and if you have the bankroll take a bonus and use your head otherwise I look for some consoldation in this biz.

Hey you guys,

I think it's funny that everyone is making me out to be some sort of martyr. I want to assure everyone that I do not enjoy getting stiffed by Action Sports and Best Bet Sportsbook, and that I went public after all else failed.

I made the mistake of letting Best Bet Sportsbook slow pay me for 8 months on a 9788 gambling debt. When Action Sports pulled the same crap, I wasn't about to let them do that to me or anyone else.

Let me also say publically that I WILL COLLECT EVERY PENNY OWED TO ME by both of these criminals. I have not written these debts off and the only thing that will prevent me from doing so is if they are out of business and I can't find them.

Alot of you guys like to put lines on things, well let me put my own line on this, if they are still doing business, the odds would be 1000 to 1 against me NOT collecting from them.

I am nothing if not persistent and tenacious. I will definitely get paid if they are operating (which they are), it's just going to take me awhile.

Hang in there Boomer. Your persistence will pay off with your two accounts. Post up at all the forums you can find. Keep the heat on them. They'll feel the pinch especially if one or two other customers have complaints. Perhaps, you will find someone else who has a had a similar problem with them. Hey, if you make 20 dimes on your perks but get hosed out of 8 or whatever you are still up 12 on the bottom line. Whales like you move the lines for the rest of us so I wish you and yours the best.
