  • Pinnacle Service Sucks

I won an account at Pinnacle, so I probably should not complain, but I have called up and asked for ALL LINES to be faxed/emailed to me daily.

No matter how clear I make it, I have to call back a day or two later and ask them to send me the NHL hockey lines. After ten times, it gets annoying. They call this service? What could be so hard about putting me on a mailing list?

I sent Ali Hamilton an email on the 9th of February - he never responded.

Maybe they service the really big accounts, but they are not servicing me.

    As always - Good Luck,

Stardust, the phone costs of sending you an international fax every day, plus the manpower and trouble, are not insignificant. For a player who started with a $20 deposit, I'm surprised they would EVER send such faxes.

Udog - I can draw you a picture, but it probbaly would not help.

BigMoney - the account has about a dime in it. If they don't want to spend the $ to do it right - they could set up lines on their website or a phone line. The odds on the phone line are about a day behind, and their website is just a big advertisement.

Again - they tout all the benefits of a Pinnacle account - but they are a chimerical sophistry.

Now I understand the problem. I agree there should be some way that the player can find out the current lines other than calling and listening to a live rundown. Computerized phone message, up-to-date web page, or live odds feed, or something.

As big as Pinnacle is supposed to be it is truly amazing they cannot institute some kind of live odds on their website.

They have a 800 number "action line" for odds, but every time I call it they have yesterday's lines. I am calling around 3 p.m. Eastern, so I don't understand it.

The number is 1-800-952-0813 - give a listen. Today they have someone laughing - no lines. I have never found up to date lines there.

On the other hand - Carib has their lines up on their website already. I am cashing out at Pinnacle and sending my $ to a book that will service my small account.

There's nothing wrong with a book deciding to cater to the higher rollers. But giving away a free $20 account, and accepting small wagers, are not consistent with that.

                Pretty strange.

                  BigMoney,

What is with the $20 account? Are you confusing Premier with Pinnacle? Pinnacle was kind enough to sponsor a BW contest, Premier is giving away $20 accounts.

Like I said - maybe they do cater to and service larger accounts, but as far as I am concerned, I would rather have an account at a small shop, where they at least treat you like you are a customer.

Yes, I did confuse the two.

It does seem that Pinnacle is not for the smaller bettor.
