Help from other books

There are like 30 or so books at the bottom of this screen and a whole lot more that post here. I am trying to get ready for the baseball season. Thinking about limits and other things. I know there were a lot of books that guaranteed 5 dimes in baseball last year. Are any of you planning on guaranteeing more then 5 dimes this season.
If any bettors or readers know of any books as well please let me know. I dont have the time or energy to call 50 or so books individually to find out these answers.

I always offer other books (colleagues) an account at Skybook. I would love an account with them. I will definitly be calling them and asking them to trade accounts with me or offer me one. 10 dimes in baseball is a nice take.

No, I'm waiting for the 21st when Ray Meyers is supposed to be back.

You also might want to try Looselines. They may have an official limit that's lower, but I remember betting over ten dimes there during last year's baseball season. Think I bet fifteen once or twice.

They are real nice people and I highly recommend them also.

I mean places that guarantee the amount. All books have limits to protect against the super wise guys or sharp players killing them. Then of course they have different or no limits for other players. I am friends with the owner of looslines. I agree with you he has a top notch book, but if I ever asked him to guarantee me 10 dimes a side in baseball when he was done laughing he would probably tell me to go blank myself.

On the issue of your money. I know it has nothing at all to do with me but reading that thread made me sick. I fought not getting involved and typing in my thoughts. I really dont want to ever say anthing about another book that is bad. This is an exception. The client should be paid when ever and how ever he wants. End of story. Oh wow you were paid 10k or 20k and your under review. Give me a break. You have to wait 3 more weeks to get your other 10k. They acted like they did you a favor. Acting like 30k was anything at all.
You do what you want. I know you want the 8k back so you are playing by their rules. If you arent told that day when you are finally allowed to talk about your money where and how damn fast they are sending it to you. Write it off. Tell us all, and we can all spend the rest of our lives bashing them. Any book will agree with me ANYONE OF THEM. Its your money and you should have had it by now.

Thanks for the imput. No sportsbook takes no limit bets from wiseguys. Trust me on this one. If you check again with them you will see. Then if they guarantee more then 5k , please get back to me.

lance-youre probably correct on that note-i didnt know it was wiseguy action you wanted to get rid of-im going to be laying of my shops stuff at pinnacle-it will be a mixed bag of sharp and square play-but last year i got killed with parlays and rr's-hope something will work out for you---brett

I can not agree with your take on Pinnacle. Their site / adds say they take any bet - Big Nosed Bill says - "I got a pencil in my hand and I am here to write"
Yeah - right! Bill dropped his pencil when you mention NCAA BB money lines or halftimes and NHL money lines.

I had to call at least 5 consecutive days to ask for NHL lines, when I was supposed to be on the mailing list.

I wanted to trasnfer $300 to Olympic and they told me it would cost me $50.

I sent Ali Hamilton an email on the 9th of this month asking when was a good time to call him about these issues. I am still waiting to get a response.

On the plus side, they do have huge limits (for me anyway) and their lines are reasonable. I am a very small player by most standards, so maybe the red-carpet treatment is reserved for the big players.

You want to bet baseball with high limits, Delmar books as high as anyone. Solid book, too.

I play at delmar. I agree they are awesome. I to am close with them. The ownwer is one of my best friends in this business. HE also wont guarantee me more then 5 dimes. I am looking for the shops that guarantee more.

Skybook/stay away from Sterling. By far the most unreasonable book I have ever seen. They will do everything from gyping you on the dominican exchange to changeing the lines when you pick a side. You better have a hard copy of every bet you make with them because you may have to prove it with them the next day. Absolutely miserable ticket writers to work with. If this was the only sportsbook in the world I would still say stay away.

skybook, I totally agree with you about the never laying off bets. I was involved with a place this summer (albeit briefly) and the owner, all he would do was lay off action he thought was too sharp or steam. Good God, the bookie is the one that the 11-10 works for. That alone ought should be reason enough not to throw away the action. Would be curious as to your thoughts on this.
