  • Olimpic Sports Tennis Odds

I have just checked Olympic Sports tennis line. You certainly have a special word for the situation when one can bet on some outcome of a match in one book and on the opposite outcome in another one and get profit in case of any outcome.
I found 3 matches in Olympic's line (out of 4 available now), where this is possible with either sportingbet or centrebet.
For example, Olympic has Ferreira (vs Haas) at +200, while at sportingbet Haas is available at -175.
Since it is the first time I ever see Olympic's tennis line, I would like to ask if it is their normal practice or just coincidence.
    Thank you in advance.

Tennis is a sport where you can do a lot of scalping, glad to see Olympic has joined the list of outs. Opinions can be vary widely on matches, work hard enough and you'll find the right numbers to win with regularly.

Are they betting on each match, or just from quarter-finals onwards?

I guess they are betting quarter-finals onwards. But this is the first week I checked their line every day.
Do you know any other offshore books that have tennis?

StanJames, centrebet, Darwin, Hills, Sportingbet (last 2 usually QFs onward)

plus several highly juiced Euro books that aren't worth bothering about

During the Australian Open both Intertops and Stan James were superb, though Stan James charges me 3% tax.

Boris, does SJ also charge you tax?

Easybets as well....Also, don't know if this is still allowed, but you used to be able to PARLAY tennis matches, golf-matchups, and nascar matchups....etc.

SJ charges a 1% 'service charge' to people outside the UK. Annoying, but worth it.

Easybets - too many hassles in the past for people for me to go there. You should be able to have any type of bet you like in a multiple bet (palay) - can with most aussie books.

                  Boris,
It is my fault, I probably made my question unclear. I know about European and Australian books. By offshore books I meant books from the Caribeans and Antigua.

I only know that Intertops usually offers tennis and it seems that Olympic offers quarter-finals onwards.

Concerning books you mentioned, I think Hills rarely offers odds for any tournaments except Grand Slams. And even for Grand Slams they start not from the beginning.

About Stan James. I believe it is the only British book that offers odds for almost all matches of almost all ATP tournaments. But is phone the only option to place a bet with them? If so, do they have any toll free numbers?

And I agree with AussieVamp2 that Austrian books sometimes have good odds for favorites in one-sided matches.

Alec, it seems to me more like
                    Intertops 'sometimes has tennis odds'

                    i.e. if they remember

barring Grand Slam events that is

Yes, I believe Intertops concentrates on the grand slams, but when they do they have lines on ALL the games.

In the Aussie Open they had lines very early on in the tournament, and when I tried to print all the matchups I had like a 20-page stack! And the lines were fantastic. No cloning, but unique, individual lines.

I even had Golmard there at +135, and Henman at SJ at evens. So you can imagine how happy I was...

Has Antigua floated out of the Caribbean?

                          Boris,
I hope not. Let's try it this way. Do you know any books from the Caribbeans with tennis line? Does Stan James have any toll-free numbers for American customers? And do they have plans to go online, I mean accept bets online, I know their site stanjames.com?

I don't agree on Intertops. They have several matches every day. Right know they have two matches from WTA Oklahoma. But they are not consistent at all.

2 matches? do they have any from the other tournaments?

Didn't have the finals of the recent ones when I looked.....
