I would just like to offer a bit of advice on the website setup. There's one thing I think should be fixed ASAP. When I place a bet on a game, then all is fine. But as soon as I try to place another bet on the same game, it says that I have to call up personally.

I was told that this is to prevent me from betting on the same game twice by accident. I would understand if it rejected bets of the same amount, thinking that I have clicked twice or something. But it also won't accept wagers of different sizes.

Is there any way of switching this off? It is very irritating to say the least. Maybe offer your clients the option of removing this so-called "safety device?"

Cons, firstly, I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to your comments.

I have referred to our Technical Department in reference to your comments and I have been advised that the current safety device, amongst other issues, is currently being addressed at present. We are making various upgrades to our software and I can guarantee that you will see huge improvements in the coming months.

Unfortunately, at present, it will not be possible for this option to be switched off upon request but I can assure you that new software is currently being tested and an upload is imminent.

I would like to thank you for your comments, we always appreciate our customers' comments, suggestions and constructive criticisms as this enables us to review our current services in accordance with our customers' needs.

    Kind Regards

      Joanne,
I have been irritated by the same thing that cons mentioned, for months. One can't make a second bet, other than a parlay/combo, on the same offering even days apart or with different wager amounts. I don't like to have to call in bets, but is it your policy to adjust an amount up on a call? Would the odds stay the same or would you cancel the first "bet" and require a new one be placed at the "potentially adjusted" odds? Just curious, for future reference, until your s/w is fixed. The other books with a "double shot" protection only apply it for the exact same amount within a few seconds of the first bet, anything else goes through fine.

      Thanks,
      buckeye

Buckeye, your old bet stays. You simply place a new one over the phone for whatever amount you want, at the current odds.

I'm glad this "safety-device" might disappear soon, as the reason for being online is so you don't have to call...

Buckeye, the explanation given by Cons is absolutely correct. The reason the safety device is operation at the moment is basically due to software issues that are currently being addressed. I can totally understand that this can be irritating and inconvenient and would like to assure you we are taking the necessary steps to make improvements in this area.

I hope that you will continue to use our service despite this issue that is of concern to you, as there will be great improvements in the very near future.

          Kind Regards

Another Sportsbook's software will highlight with a message if you have already placed a wager on the game that you're trying to bet. This is a good idea, to help cut down on player mistakes while allowing the flexibility for multiple wagers.

Good point. An extra reconfirmation screen would probably be the best idea.

Joanne, btw, if I wanted to visit Alderney, what route would you recommend from Poole?

Cons - best route to Alderney is to head to Southampton, then it's a 45minute flight.
