When sending charts (quite useful for betting purposes), most email clients seem to mess things up. I hear that the message needs to be sent encoded as HTML.

Anyone know a place where I can get free email with that possibility (hopefully with POP/STMP access as well)?

    Cons - tried Netscape Messenger?

    What is hotmail doing wrong?

If I am not mistaken flashemail.com, or mail.com> I am currently a user of both and if we are on the same level, I believe that either one of these should clear up your problem if not let me know.

Thanks for replying guys. Hotmail won't let you send message encoded as HTML, so you can't format your text like you can in MS Word. So no charts or even images allowed here.

I use Microsoft Outlook Express for my email. It's the most convenient as I'm tring to move away from web-based mail. That's why I need a POP/SMTP account. Hardly any place offers free accounts like that, as almost all the free accounts are web-based.

I think yahoo.com has what I'm looking for. You can access your mail either on the web of by Outlook Express. You don't simply have to choose between the two, but can use both on one account. Can't think of a better combination. Only catch is you have to allow them to send you their own spam, but I haven't received any thus far.

I'll check out Netscape, Flashemail, and Mail.com shortly.

Thanks again, and please keep the suggestions coming guys...

I've been using the yahoo SMTP mail and I've only recived ine piece of spam mail in the 6 or 7 months I've been using it, so I think that is probably the best one for what you want.

Yahoo seems to be the best choice so far. I tried mail.com and they are quite good, though they don't have smtp. I think it is available if you subscribe at $40 annually, so I might consider it. Is it fairly reliable?

Cons, one of the most reliable that I have seen when I send something important, I duplicate it and send it also to my box if it gets there it should have gotten to it's other destination. Hope this has been of some help. All the best.

well the easy thing for you might be going to a place called www.mailbank.com. They do charge but the fee is next to nothing it is pop3 and smtp. and you can register you name on to one of the couple of hunderd domain names they have. It is pretty cool
