i realize that you must be in the state of nevada.

This would surely be handicapper's hell, to live in Nevada. Not only have the sportsbooks there reduced their limits for phone wagering to generally $300-$500 (if they offer it at all), but also there is presumably an explicit law against wagering with offshore sportsbooks.

The Mirage properties (Mirage, Bellagio, Treasure Island and Golden Nugget) currently have phone service. Stratosphere will have it soon. There is also an online interactive service called sportxaction where you can bet on every play in a game.
