I just wanted to let all customers know that Casablanca has tested for Y2K compliance and we forsee no problems with our servers.
Some of the precautions we are taking tonight are the following:
1. All games that are completed will be finalized and accounts updated before 12:00 Eastern.
2. Both a printed copy and a mirror copy of the hard drive, which includes all customer balances, active plays and account history will be made.
3. A backup web server is on site in case we run into problems with the current one. If there is a problem the mirror copy of the hard drive will be installed on this server.
4. There will be no overnight wagers accepted after 10:00 Eastern (Halftime will be available for the Mississippi/Oklahoma game). The servers are going to be left running but we do not want any activity on them.
We will also have staff available until after 12:00 to take any phone calls from customers interested in verifying their balances over the phone. All lines are recorded so there will be a taped copy of the verification.
