    Buffalo all the way......

I live in Az near all the action, they won't do a thing against the Bills this Sunday Night.

Papa is one of my favorite radio guys. Good luck to both of you. Lots of Trends against this one, but I REALLY like Dallas against the Jets as I expect Jets to be VERY flat this week, as they were against the Giants a couple of weeks ago. In their lost situation, they only seem to be up for divisional foes like Miami, Buff, and the Colts.

Oakland. Can't imagine any of John Q Public picking the Raiders. The fact that Tampa Bay was only made a 1.5 favorite to start, is telling me that the Raiders are a solid play.

        Best of Luck to you.

I'm almost 100% sure that "Papa Joe" won't have the Cowboys as one of his picks.

            This is my lock.

Hey, try to hang out the future odds for next year's superbowl before this weekend and make the Steelers as a 2-1 favor,

I think Papa Joe will be happy enough to hand you the victory without a fight.

            Anyway, good luck.

Don Best is so serious about this contest that, in order to prepare for it, they don't even have time to update the scores on the Screen tonight (Thursday). Now, I'm all in favor of serious preparation, but puh..leeze, fix the Screen problem and update the scores. When I call the office to complain, the phone just rings and rings.

I agree wholeheartedly with Freak. The Cards couldn't score against the Skins defense; they won't against Buffalo's much better defense. Az's offensive line is one big mess and Plummer is running for his life nearly every passing play. I also like the Under in this one. Contrary to my pick, Az does have excellent pass receivers if the line would ever give Plummer time to throw. Also, Buffalo is not a good road team and doesn't seem to be playing particularly well right now. More importantly, my picks are as cold as ice right now (i.e. Dartmouth, South Carolina) and quite ripe for being faded. Good luck! Papa Joe never impressed me as knowing too much about sports. His syndicated show is long gone from my area. Now if they would only get rid of local hero Tony Kornheiser I'd really be happy.

Thanks Dana.I appreciate your commitment to
                    service.

DeacDoug, my favorite sports talk hosts are Jim Rome and Bob Kemp. My least favorite is JT the Brick. Papa Joe is average.

I agree, Jim Rome is great. Do you remember when Jim Everet went after him for calling him Chris? What a classic. I used to listen to Papa Joe when I lived in vegas, and based on what I used to hear, I am shocked he is in the finals.

Dana maybe we should be getting your picks along with Sharks on the express.

                      Good Luck

KnowItAll, what was really classic about Everett pushing Jim Rome over in his chair live on TV was the headline in a sportspage the next day--"The Fall of Rome."

Can you blame Everett? I think that was right after he was traded to the Saints! The only team in the entire NFL to never win a playoff game. I would be on the edge to knowing I was about to be pummeled behind that "offensive" line.

InTheKnow, I believe Everett was already playing with the Saints at the time. Everett absolutely deserved the criticism. The guy had the "happiest feet" since Fred Astaire.
