Has anyone dealt with WH extensively?
Although they are a giant in this industry (just like Microsoft are in what they do), I was wondering if other aspects of their business are also at a high level. Asking if they pay is a silly question, as there's not a book worldwide as financially solid as them, but are their betting options, limits, etc. also that great?
Any opinions?

There are several books that I have never collected a penny from them.
Such as DAS and Interwetten, and also William Hill.
But be honest with you, I like DAS a lots and I also like WH a lots.
Like Cons said, I have never concerned about the word "pay" when I'm playing there, its not an issue.
Here are something I like them,
a) Clear, well designed website layout.
b) A lot of betting options for different kind of sports.
c) One of the few "true" European books that still offering -110 on NFL (sportingbet also but B&W no more this season).
d) 33% bonus.
e) They are clearly the leader on odds for minor sports. I dare to say that I've seen at least 5 or 6 books that copy the lines from WH regularly, especially on soccer.
I mean really just copy it.
For some exotic betting options, WH is always the first to offer it (Not for US market though, their options are kind of for UK and global).
So if you are only looking for some soccer bettings, you may not find their lines will excite you much (cause you will see those lines else where a lots, especially on the Premiere), but when you dig deeper...
Currently I would not recommend WH to someone whose new to the gambling world, especially if you will only play US sports.
But if you are a player that enjoys gambling as one of your hobbies and you like different kind of sports and excitements, they are a pretty good choice.
Just like DAS.

Yeah, WH won't be affected by Kyle because the UK gov't will have none of his crap. He and his FBI buddies can terrorise Caribbean islands, but they'll never even think about taking on WH with the UK gov't behind them.
DAS is good, finally they allow different currencies, and live betting. Might give them a try, because Intertops is going down the drain. Their web site is now awful, and they can't even set a simple matter with me regarding limits. They promise one thing, then there's constant trouble having them honor it. It's like dealing with little kids.
Also thinking of Sportingbet, but 40-cent lines on certain props aren't that enticing.

Brother Dog. Have checked into WH at advice of friend. One plus I like is they offer odds and daily matchups on almost all golf events.Downside is as with Sportingbet ties lose unless actually wagered on.
They give back 33% of first wager up to maximum of $100 dollars. You may want to try and middle 1st wager with differentt book to assure $100 profit.

If you get indentified as a sharp player they'll keep your telephone limits low. A nickel a game...sometimes less. The place is run like one of those corporate owned Las Vegas books. It seems like every manager is afraid to take a bet because they'll have to answer to their superiors if the bet wins.
