Check your Itops Balance

I made two winning wagers at Intertops yesterday and won them both, but when I checked my account late today my opening balance was the same as yesterday.

I emailed Itops and they quickly fixed the situation in my favour with apologies and said they are having some kind of a problem with "accounts not calculating correctly."

I don't keep as close a track on all my accounts as I should and it's only dumb luck that I had written down yesterday's opening balance. The online world is so efficient and precise it sort of lulls you into a false sense of security, but really mistakes do happen.

I encourage all to review their Itops account....in fact all their accounts..... carefully to make sure its correct....and I've resolved to keep better track of all my accounts.

You are absolutely right.

I made a bet online this afternoon but after I confirmed my bet, I've found out my bet was not appeared in my records and my balance was not deducted, later I called them and made my bet through the phone.

They mentioned its some technical problems.

Glad I double checked my bets even after the confirmation screen.

I truely hope not too many people were affected by this.

BTW, if you have problems placing the bets online, try call them, they are more flexible now and they will let you make the bets through the phone.

Yeah, another good idea is writing an excel program to manage your sportsbook accounts. I spent a fair amount of time setting this up so that there's a different sheet for all my outs, as some round up to the nearest dollar, some to the nearest cent, as well as other differences. When I put in my bets it keeps track of everything. You can also have a master screen showing details of all your accounts, the profits and payouts made at each.

It's worth spending some time to do this, to organize everything on your side. You then have instant access to all your accounts, can check every bet, see what's still pending, everything...
