  • Intertops.com is back up!

As you may have noticed, the Intertops.com website has been down for the past three days. We shut the site down in anticipation and preparation of Hurricane Lenny, one of the most unusual and unpredictable hurricanes in history. During the past three days, more than 30 inches of rain has fallen. That's nearly the average annual rainfall for Antigua in just three days.

Our choice to close the site down temporarily was a deliberate one in order to allow our employees to stay at home with their families and protect their assets, as well as to protect our own equipment from potential water and other collateral damages. When the site is down, we understand that this causes enormous inconvenience to our loyal customers, and we apologize for that inconvenience.

As a matter of policy we choose to act on the side of caution. Our priority is as always customer service. On rare and unforeseen occasions we must take measures such as these, to protect our employees, your accounts, and our equipment. This is one of those unfortunate occasions.

We wish to thank you for your understanding, and can assure you that every effort is being made to restore the full and dedicated service to which you have become accustomed.

    Best Regards,

    Simon Noble
    CEO Intertops.com

    Simon,

Nice work. I'd much rather miss out on a couple of bets and have you protect the important things like people and database servers! Impressive return to service too.

    Thanks,

    AV

Yes good work - Intertops is inaccessable on NFL game day - been trying since 1 hour before NFL kickoff - only Intertops in Antigua is inaccessable.

Intertops, Do something about your website; it pains me to have to go through a big headache just to make a bet.

Can anyone tell me if intertops would transfer money to SOS

How about making the web site more client-based, where we'd all download a few files once, and there would be less downloading later? Or provide this as an option...

I know people have spoken out against this, but what can be wrong with downloading a program once, and then navigating through it faster later on...?

            Cons,

Problem with installed client software being, if you are not at your machine, but another one with net access, no betting........

OK, I just though the client version would make the graphics and such run faster... otherwise I agree it's pointless. I just thought the little program would provide all the graphics, making downloading everything else much faster...
