      Hi Guys

Just to let everyone know, Hurricane Lenny has been hanging around for the past two days constantly threatening to really hit. As of now we are experiencing very severe thunder showers in Antigua and strong gusting winds. Premiere League is open and will remain so until the full force of Lenny becomes a reality. If he decides to push on, then lucky for us all!!!

      Best Wishes

I just found out that the problem in Antigua isn't with the sportsbooks but rather with Cable and Wireless - the internet provider everyone uses down there.

Hurricane Lenny stalled over St. Maarten and is dumping copious amounts of water over everything in its path including Antigua. Someone informed me that 6 inches of water fell in one day. The hurricane has been downgraded to a type 1 hurricane (80-100 mph winds) so wind damage isn't a concern, but with so much water it has wiped out the cable and telephone lines.

I have been assured by someone at Intertops that the systems are fine and have not been affected and the company is waiting for Cable and Wireless to come back up.

It's safe to assume that all Antiguan sportsbooks are in the same dilemma which include:
        - World Sports Exchange
        - SOS
        - Carib
        - WWTS
        - Premiere-League
        - Post Time

        among others.

There is no use trying to call the books because even local operators can't get through to the operators in Antigua.

          Hartley,

Did they give you any kind of time frame as to when they might be up??

Douglas, not really although someone is in the office now. If you e-mail them at "info@intertops.co.at" then someone can answer you from the Austrian office.

WE have had no troubles and have been up all day. All of our customers have gotten through on the phone and online.

                Thanks
