We our baseball lines have always been very differnet then the norm. We have been complimated numerous times for that. These baseball lines have always been different and always will. Agin i must ask you to speak the truth. Maybe you werent listening to. Like many people in this site have said. Not us the clients, we have very varied baseball lines and take a big hit. This has been our policy since day one and will not change.

      Thank you for your response.

I am not affended about your remarks about "you must work at one of the smaller books". I know it isn't true anyway. You are like a politician who can't talk straight. But who cares. I'll wait and see what happens. If your still around in a couple of months I'll think about calling.

You still didn't answer the question about why your lines were ridiculously different right after you through out the sheets.

You can fool some of the people......

Polar runs the numbers for Looselines. A solid book in Belize I think. They were on Margarita before.

Polar, you do make valid points, I agree that players should not be put on hold, if you don't want the action, fire'em, but to hold games until your manager dbl checks his numbers is wrong. That to me tells me you only want wiseguy action if they lay a bad number. Drop the wiseguy limits to 3/1 and let fire, just like ABC, one hit per wiseguy at 5k per hit and then it moves. Players will understand the move if they are late, but not if the game is put on hold as soon as they call.

            intheknow,

I will leave everyone alone soon. But people in the Skybook office have told me that nobody was on the phone when I called to put in a play. They had the highest number on the board. They put me on hold and then gave me a lower number.

This is not fair to me or anyone else they do this to. Are we calling just to let THEM know their line is the lowest or highest. So that they can move it first if they want? Wasting my time over and over again.

I'm sorry but this is %100 true! And I can prove it. This also makes their line %100 useless because you can't ever trust it!!! NOT FOR JUST ME BUT FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO MIGHT THINK THEY HAVE A NUMBER HIGH OR LOW FOR A REASON!!!!!!!! FOR THE PEOPLE WHO PAY DON BEST FOR THEIR SERVICE AND USES THESE LINES!!!!!

THIS IS MY POINT. stop pretending to be what your not! Don't deceive big or little guys who follow your line.

I will let Skybook alone, They might have changed their ways. But I doubt it....

            Skybook,

You did have an account with us but I think you were cut off. But you can post up if you want......

Thanks for the information. Poalr only wants to make false statements abotu our book and refuses to to tell us what book he owns or works for. You are the second person who has told me he works at looselines and If this is true I cant possibly express how shocked I am. I have met personally and done business with the owner of looselines. His money is 100%, he is a class guy, and he runs a top notch book. So i must tell you the same thing I told the last person I am sure this man is unaware of these attacks at skybook by this polar person. Statements we all know are false.

now we are getting somewhere. You are obviously affraid to except my offer to exchange company accounts, with you setting the limits as high as you like. SO you hide and say we can post. Thats fine as well maybe we will. Only we asked you 10 times already to tell us what company you are with. Also I am very curious as to your company limits. I am sure they are very high , much higher then ours since you make the ridiculous statements over and over again that Skybook is affraid of your action.
SO AGAIN- WHAT BOOK ARE YOU WITH AND WHAT ARE YOUR LIMITS
Day 3 and still waiting Steve

                      Polar..Robbie...whoever,

I am sick and tired of your act, as, I am sure, are many other people. What you are bitter about, I do not know. But your vicious and antagonistic ramblings are growing very stale. Nobody wants to weed through your "personal" gripes in an otherwise informative thread. I would suggest you take your bitter and hatred-filled monolouges down to a one-on-one level and stop bogging down this forum with your personal beefs.

                        Hey guys,
While Polar is less than tactful, I really enjoy reading the responses that the book presents. These responses help many players decide whether to play with them or not. Maintaining their "cool" under fire is a good indication of how they will treat their customers who have a problem. That's why Books who return posts in this forum should make sure that their best guy is doing the posting. Steve has done an OK job on this one. Sky, on the other hand, showed in an earlier posting that ego can come into play. Polar is posting as a player, and nobody has to play with him personaly, but Skybook has the opportunity to response in a positive way to influence all who frequent this forum. The, you play with me and I'll play with you note was a bit ego driven, but overall Steve dealt with the tough ranting of a seasoned bettorworld VET and should be comended. That said, Skybook is a more than solid book, IMO they made the right move dumping the credit packages. The competition has driven the percentages these agents want to charge to unrealistic levels. Some demand 50% to 60% with no risk to them on a loss. Some put on Wiseguys and just take a small percent of the total volume win or lose. One of the last bastions of the old days, the credit player is fast becoming pase'.

                          in the know,

I concur with you nearly 100%, except for one exception. I do not find Polar's rants, issues, questions, whatever they, as being beneficial to anybody besides himself. The point that I was trying to make is why should Steve, who volunteered to start a thread opening himself and his book up to scrutiny (positive or otherwise), devote 90% of his time, energy, and space in this thread, answering questions for a bitter individual who has a personal agenda. I'm sure there are many readers of this thread who are new to this, but there are many others (myself included) who have heard the same song and dance time and time again. I agree that maintaining one's cool while "under fire" is an important indicator of a shop's integrity. I also am of the belief that problems and mistakes are not good markers for a books' credibility. They are inevitable, how they are handled is what's important. I don't find Polar's rants to be those that could be construed as "general gripes and/or questions". I find them self-serving at the very least. We must remember who started this thread. While i don't have an exact figure, the rants/raves ratio is quite high when it comes to comments regarding particular books. I am quite sure that they spend more time answering negative feedback than soaking in the glory of their praises. With that being said, let's let these guys deal with what's important to us and not somebody who has a personal beef.

                                Intheknow,

Answer this question for me please.

For some reason you thought you needed to follow Skybooks line on Don Best because you heard they were the "Book the the pros play". They have a 7 on a game. Everyone else has a 7 and a half or 8. You use 7 on the game because you think they have a solid line. You think they favor the dog or have some other reason for the game to be low.

But when a wiseguy calls them to place a bet on this number, they hold them up and see everyone else is higher. They really didn't have any reason to be lower except they were just sleeping. They are alerted to this when the wiseguy calls.

If they don't take any action on this number, that means that they weren't really favoring the dog, did not have any wiseguy action on the other side, all in all really didn't want a bet on this side of the game. Yet they posted the number on Don Best so everybody could see. Not thinking about the fact people might have thought this was a REAL LINE! A line for a bet!

This is not what Don Best was all about. Don Best is a service to help (BOOKIES OR PLAYERS) decide the direction they want to take regarding their action for that day.
It is the best tool for any handicapper, bookie, whoever you are it can help you!

But when the books on the screen start to chase away action like this THEY become CLONE JOINTS and really have no business claiming they are a book that is "Where the pros play"

                                Intheknow,

                                This doesn't bother you?

                                Skybook,

You don't have to ever answer any of my posts. You just ignore my questions anyway. Kind of like trying to place a bet with your book. I just like bothering you guys. After all the time I wasted trying to place bets at "THE PLACE WHERE THE PROS PLAY"

I found some places that will take my bets without all the crying........

Sorry to those I bothered (besides Skybook) of course.........
