  • do any books offer 2nd intermission nhl lines?

on tuesdays in vegas (maybe other days as well) the imperial palace offers 2nd intermission lines on NHL games.

Do any offshores offer NHL intermission wagering? It would seem Olympic should offer this wagering as it goes along with their M.O but they don't seem to offer them.

does anyone know of any fearless bookmakers out there?

Phaedrus, now that is interesting. I knew the IP was the place for hockey wagering but didn't realize they had "in the running" betting. Good Job IP!

I agree that this would fit Olympic. They do after all offer 1st period lines right now.

I believe that the last two years during the stanley cup final, SOS offered lines on all 3 periods before the game, but to the best of my knowledge no one has offered the equivalent of half time betting on the nhl.

Would love to see some book step up and try though. Unfortunately it would probably be pretty difficult to generate much action.

However, and I just thought of this, what if they tried marketing it very focused to Canadians, just for the big early game each Saturday on Hockey Night in Canada. Either the Leafs or the Habs are always on so they certainly would have people interested in the game.

You know that just might work. And we'd get to half times (since two intermissions) instead of 1.

What would be great would be if they also did it during overtime intermissions during the playoffs. Now that would be exciting!

    On a related topic,
I remeber reading that last year during the short break between the 4th quarter and OT in the NFC championship game, that CAESARS put up a money line of VIKINGS -140. Apparently it got hammered up to VIKINGS -190 which no doubt pleased the boys at the PALACE when the VIKES choked it away.

The second half lines for selected football events are up right after the opening kickoff.

If they are not on the Net you may call 800-305-3517.
