SportingbetUsa Beware?
Hey guys just sharing my expirience with this sportsbook. And looking to warn others to stay away. They seem to be rated quite high at this site wich leaves me a bit puzzeled given how many complaints you can find on them. And how poorly they are rated at other sites like sportsbooreview.com, etc.
Anyway after having an account for nearly two years with them i just realized how awfull this book is. Namely The BS attempts at not paying you. After two years i finally dicide to do something I done only once before before, namely withdraw my winnings. The first time it was $50 withdrawal right after i opened the account to see if it was smooth and it was then. This time after losing a few hundred dollars of my bankroll that i had been building over time i decided to withdraw $450 that i won in the poker room, Playing No limit Texas Holdem. And leave $50 dollars in my account wich was what i started with originally in building my bankroll. And thats when the problems started. I recived a confirmation that my withdrawal is being processed and i thought everything was fine.
That is untill they closed my account and never sent my withdrawal. A week later i get a message saying that my account is being audited. They want me to fax my Id and a copy of the credit I used last. I'm thinking Ok no problem, I sent them. Three times they claimed not to recive them, the fourth time they claim to have recieved the but allegedly they could'nt read it. Finally i just scanned and attached the copys to the email reply. So they could'nt about not reciving them. I thought that would be the end of it but i was wrong. Next they asked for Bank account statement, photo ID, Copy of the credit card again front and back. As ridiculous as i thought that was I eventually gave in and sent those. Not good enough again. They came back wanting copies of every credit/debit card front back ever used in the last two years, + bank statements, Photo Id. On the last email Thay are requesting photo copies of my husbands credit cards banks statments ID.
At this point it is obvious they are just gonna continue to come back with even more outrageous requests each time till i go away.
I did a search on google and various newsgroup and apparently these ""Audits"" are quite INFAMOUS and there are quite a few players wich hve been screwed by them. Wich is why it puzzels me that they are rated so High Here.
Question they claim to be fully lisceenced and regulated in UK. Is there a UK regulatory body or some kind of UK Gaming enforcment agency like there is in the U.S. that i can file a complaint with. Other than exposing them on Message boards is there any recourse available to someone who is being screwed over by one of these book. I know its only $450 compared to what i could of lost. But it really has gotten under my skin when people just take my money like that. And i feel like i need to do something.
