We were going to open it -110 each way.....but rumor has it that RENO is going to be working POLARS corner, so we had to juice it up 20 cents.....have to take into consideration the public you know......

10,000 is not many times 7,000.

7,000 when they open that is.

AND i have a feeling anyone is "always feel free to ask for a WHOLE LOT MORE" at C.R.I.S. after opening as well.

Hey, I play with both Skybook and Looselines, so I'll sit this one out. Besides, neither of these guys needs any help from me. They're both pros with plenty of their own ammo. But, I love the controversy.

I'd take the over and lay the lumber. No way these guys wouldn't go and go and go.

Jeff are you kidding me. With those 2 egos, it will turn out like the movie Diggstown.

Seriously Sky and Polar - we appreciate BOTH of your insights - I always like reading about the books side of things. I like Looselines - and I will be joining Skybook for sure as soon as they go online. The bottom line is that we can feel secure with either of your financially responsible operations.

                            Sky,

I thought you were going to set the record straight. You have not set anything or anyone straight. You are burying yourself in denial. You don't hold anyone up? Do you want to listen to my tapes of endless times trying to get a good number in your office. Then we can listen to the other offices I call and compare them. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HOLDING UP BETTORS IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT. Just don't say thats not what you do. Even at 2:00 in the afternoon when there is NOTHING going on! Tell the truth please!

What am I supposed to ask Bill Scott (who you really should not be saying these names, I'm surprized you would say his name as I don't think he would appreciate this!) or Monte? The X-king of CRIS. What are they supposed to tell me. They are not calling your office for good numbers.

Also I just left working with a (Bookie?) who claimed to take more money on games than anyone else. This (man?) ended up killing what was to be the biggest office of them all. This was on the Island of (stupidity) Margarita. I think you know who I'm talking about. You guys got on your hands and knees to this man from what I hear. People needing jobs and this (man?) would call you and tell you not to hire these people, When these people were very good people and very good clerks. It must be a weird feeling to be scared of everybody.

The bottom line is you have not set any record straight at all.

And as far as the line goes. Polar is 6'5" 400 lbs. I don't think the linesmaker did his homework.

By the way, The (man?) wants Polar wacked. For Polar wouldn't let him anywhere close to this office in his time of need! What a simple little (man?) very sad.....

                            Sky you can't win....

                              Come on Polar
If you don't respect the man al least respect the business he built. Skybook is a solid book that does take high limits. I played into them last year for layoff and they took 20 to 30 per game on Pro games. I know two players who play with you that played 1 dime in baskets and you held games for them. So until Loose Lines builds the client base large enough for you to take action that large (and I'm sure you will in time). Give the man a break, he logged on to let players ask questions, not defend himself from other BM's.

                                Intheknow,

I am a player, Also I do respect this office and think it's great they put up halftimes. I find it a pain in the *** to call a place and get slowed up and most of the time get a changed number.

I wish it was true what they said about never holding up anyone. Everyone does it to some extent (except CRIS) and you can't prove this not to be true.

I do want to say to SKY that I really don't want to make anyone look bad in anyway. We are not on Don Best but will put up many half-times also.

There is no great Mystery in making any line. But its great to see more lines.

But I still would like to hear some of the things you say are myths, and what are the facts....

Like where do the real opening lines come from and do people bet these lines before they are put up on the screen. Do you bet in Las Vegas or because you guys bet alot do play with the offshores only.

Who do you respect more CRIS or the Vegas opening lines. And do you get these openers before they are touched. I would think that would be an advantage.
