This past weekend the BoDog website was completely overwhelmed by a very serious Denial of Service attack that crippled access to our site. We pride ourselves on being leaders in technological excellence, but even our hardworking support and tech team members had trouble fighting off this weekend's attack.
A "denial-of-service" attack is characterized by an explicit attempt by attackers to prevent legitimate users of a service from using that service. We are doing everything possible to prevent these attacks from occurring in the future. We are confident that as we go forward BoDog will have the best available technology and support systems in the business.
Rest assured that our website and server are completely secure, these attacks have never compromised the BoDog system and player personal information is completely safe.
We would like to thank all BoDog players for their current and future business. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and BoDog will continue to demonstrate why so many have put their trust in us.
