Bowmans reputation for holding the best contests in the industry is well known. It's $110,000 World Challenge of Handicapping and $25,000 March Madness Contest have been incredibly well received with thousands participating in each every year. Bowmans is now proud to add this Breeders Cup Contest centered around the Super Bowl of Horse Racing to its great stable of competitions.

Here are the rules
Players will be required to make their selections on all 8 races of the Breeders Cup taking place on Saturday October 25th.
Players are required to choose one horse to come first, second and third in each race. Points will be awarded for each correct selection. Points will be awarded as follows:
8 points for correctly selecting the winning horse in each of the races.
4 points for correctly selecting the horse that comes second in each of the races.
2 points for correctly selecting the horse that comes third in each of the races.
In the event that a horse you select for a position other than first, comes in a position higher than you selected, you will receive the point total for the position you selected it in. For example, the horse you selected to come third wins the race. You will receive 2 points for that selection.
In the event that a horse you selected is scratched, you will receive no points for that horse and will not receive any other horse in its place.
Prize Will Be Awarded as Follows
First Place $1000 USD
Second Place $750 USD
Third Place $500 USD
Fourth Place $250 USD
To be eligible to receive a cash prize in this contest, you are required to wager at least $20 in total in the Bowmans Race Book on any of the Breeders Cup Races.
The participant is also eligible to have any prize they win doubled. If the participant wagers at least $100 in total in the Bowmans Race Book on any of the Breeders Cup Races, Bowmans will double any prize which that participant may win. For example, if the winner wagers $100 over the course of Breeders Cup day in the Bowmans Race Book, their prize of $1000 will be doubled to $2000, making the total prize pool of the contest $5000 USD.
Selections will be made available once the final entries are determined for the Breeders Cup race card
All selections must be entered before 9:30 am PST on October 25th , 2003.
You may use you Bowmans contest nickname for this contest. If you do not have a contest nickname from a previous Bowmans contest, you must go to the contest site and register one. The Bowmans contest nickname assures your privacy and anonymity when winning contestants are posted on the website.
In the event of a tie for any of the cash prizes, the contestant who has the most number of first place horses correct will be deemed the winner. If still tied, the most second place winners will be deemed winner. If still tied, prize money for those positions will be added together then split between the tied contestants.
