I'd vote for the Gold Sheet over Sagarin......
Here's a link to check out:
http://www.mratings.com/cb/compare.htm
On that page their are several computerizied ranking systems/power ratings.
A couple are NOT meant to be used as power ratings but most are.
I've found them to be just as helpful as the Gold Sheet.......

Jeff,
In your opinion whose Power Ratings are the singular best?
Thanks.

Very difficult to say unless you charted each one WITH home court values for each.
The problem with most of the Ccomputer rankings is that they assign a set value for home court across the board, which of course is nonsense.
I like :

and
http://teamrankings.com/ncb/
You might even want to use an average of two or three of these to come up with your own.
Home Court and Schedule stregth are important as well. The Gold sheet is good for Home Court Value.
You can use schedule strength to refine ratings as well.
If a teams schedule ranks 75 and they are beating their opponents by an average of 10 points per game, their adjusted ranking would be 85......and so on.
You can do alot with power ratings. The raw numbers are just a starting point.
