  • Thursday Night CFB - Colorado at Toledo

Colorado looked pretty miserable last week, losing 23-17 against what might turn out to be a pretty decent Colorado St team.
Toledo got run over by a rebuilding Purdue team featuring just 3 returning offensive starters, none of which are at the skill positions, and that is also breaking in a new HC and OC. Toledo gave up 52 pts, over 300 yds rushing, another 222 yds passing, and 7 TD's. The final was 52-31, but Purdue was ahead 45-14 midway through the 3rd Q, so over half of Toledo's pts were basically in garbage time.
Colorado should be able to move the ball much easier in this game, and they should have a huge chip on their shoulders. The line opened at Colorado -6.5 and now stands at -3.5. The Buffaloes may have looked pretty bad last weekend, but the Rockets looked even worse.
I can buy a half pt and get Colorado -3 at -115 odds at sports.com, so I'll take a shot with the Buffs to bounce back at the reduced line.

i played the over just because last two college games I played under went over by half a gazzillion points since no college teams seem to know the basics of how to tackle

Yeah, pretty pathetic tackling. Colorado had numerous chances in the 1st half....3 missed TD's by an eyelash, 2 plays for 100yds called back, and a couple questionable calls against them, but they started clicking in the 2nd half....too little too late.
