GSC Rant
Why is it so friggin hard to send them money? They should be embarrassed. If I ran a casino, I would make sure it was very, very easy to send me money. GSC does not accept money grams ( 10.50 to wire any amount under $10,000) , and I just tried to put money on my credit card with them, although they charge a 4% fee. They had better lines on a couple of my plays tonight( Which are Richmond +29, Under 55.5 Pit/Mia,
Michigan +2 , I guarantee at least 2-1 with these picks!) I can't get my bets in with them. Their credit card authorization system stinks. At Grand Prix , it is free and easy and instant to charge on your card. After I requested on GSC they e-mailed me a message( have to go to e-mail and retrieve) telling me the secure link to go to to finish the transaction. It's a very, very long link and guess what, It does not work! Thanks for nothing, I gave up on the transaction and bet at Grand Prix, with inferior lines on all 3 picks.

taken from the archives section titled 'GSC Press Release' :
Using client feedback and the Bettorsworld forum to develop company policies has resulted in great advancements in customer service for GSC clients.
* Increased options for deposits and withdrawals.
Was GSC just bullsh!tting about this? The options look like the same that they have always had to me, is their something that I'm missing?

One thing I noticed during my visit to GSC's operation is that there were several persons trying to wager money just prior to the first games Sunday morning who did not have any money (or enough) money in their accounts. One guy had NO money in his account, and I believe the resolution was to allow him to play on an "IF" bet. Another guy apparently had little money in his account and inquired whether he could send money Western Union. He was told that the money had to arrive within a specified time (a certain number of minutes after the game had begun). My point is that in both instances, GSC was quite accommodating and this was during crunch time.

Fed Ex is a nice way to send funds to GSC they reimburse all fees and credit your account immediatly. I agree moneygram is the easiest and least expensive way to send, and I believe GSC has their application in to do so in the future.

As good as any computer on-line system may be, at this point in time I would not say that any are even close to being perfect. I feel it's going to take a few years to erase the problems we read about on this forum (i.e. can't get through online during crunch time). Again, on-line technology is still in its infancy. I look at it as a luxury. So far I have not had a problem logging on to GSC's online system, but when that day does come, I will be certain to use the phone.
They have numerous persons on board to answer any questions you might have AND they have a few employees specifically handling credit card transactions over the phone. Me personally, I would never even consider on-line checks, on-line credit card transactions, etc.... regardless of how secure it may be. I've tried to have my credit card company cut a check over the phone on more than one occasion (I'm assuming this process then takes place via computer) and they claimed a number of days later that they were unable to process the checks and eventually they decided I was late in making a payment. If the banks can't get this right, don't expect your on-line book to get it right.
