from someone who has sources close to the situation the things mentioned have been going on for a long time. these things didn't just start happening. I feel sorry for anyone who has posted with them in hopes of having a good relationship and maybe winning some money. if you are a serious player you may want to consider other options.

I would advise everybody to read the "challenge" posted by the publisher of the paper in question on their website to develop a better sense of the situation. This is truly a desperate measure taken. The entities mentioned in the challenge (ie Pathmark) may not be too thrilled to appear in this masterpiece.

I am still not entirely certain what book and paper you are referring to. Perhaps I am not up to speed with all of the ongoings in the world of off shore books, but if someone can steer me in a direction to get more info I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Ace, you know full well what everyone is talking about. The "Jamaican" book is the one you first felt people were talking about and the Pennsylvania paper which is affiliated with the book is the other entity.

Hartley,
I think I finally caught on. If you read the previous post, I specifically asked whether E S B, which I have used and deposited as recently as a week ago, was the book in question. I did not get a direct answer, and the rhyme game that Sting posed did not click until I read your entry. Otherwise, why would I be posting these questions? I'm glad my account is dry. What the hell happened to them? Their going out of business was certainly no fault of mine. They have such a large operation that it is very surprising to me.

Hartley already stated he knows nothing about this situation so there's really no need to e-mail anybody. All the info as stated is freely accessible over the web.

Trust me Sting I have no intention of sending e-mails about this to anyone. The last time I got caught in the middle of a dispute regarding this place, I was threatened, my family was threatened I and received many harrassing e-mails. It isn't worth getting mixed up in it. So I've said my last word about the whole thing.

Again, people just need to be aware of what's going on in the world of offshore books. No need to attack anybody or ask to be sent e-mails concerning this situation when such info is readilly available over the net. Latest info is that copies of the bounced checks are supposed to be posted over the net which may serve as further evidence of the financial woes faced by this paper. Still don't know what effect if any this will have on the affiliated sportsbook.
